Specialist Pruning

We work on feature shrubs such as wisteria, pleached hornbeams, climbing roses, topiary and cotinus within your garden that require specialist pruning to manage and rejuvenate them. Each of these plants need individual care especially if they have been neglected or poorly pruned. From experience we have found that initially these jobs can take time to do properly in order to establish a better plant shape. Once this had been achieved their maintenance is more manageable which should encourage better flowering and with a more desirable shape. This enhances the micro environment within a plant encouraging healthier and stronger growth. We often work at height for pruning.

 

We also undertake evergreen pruning over the summer months and prune or coppice deciduous plants based on their new wood formation.
